Technically android's aren't a new thing. Looking forward to replaying Automata soon to experience it's themes again.
I know the easiest answer would be to assume he just has the memories recorded from the time he entered the death dream, but with it being fairly vague just saying "reconstructed with the “memories” that the tree had of his first visit to the Forest of Myth (NieR Endings fandom wiki)," and the information I talked about in point 1a I think there is enough to backup all his memories potentially being restored. Even if it's in a dying world essentially (unless different timeline is possible - point 2). I just want them all to live with the Nier they formed all their memories with lol. Until it's said otherwise, that's what I wanna go with.
With it recording everything afterwards though I think it still allows for a way to give him most of his memories still. This could explain why adult Nier wasn't reconstructed (body wasn't recorded). LostWanderer88 pointed out that it could be possible that the memory tree didn't store his information the 2nd time (IF this was him entering the tree) since the tree was essentially being corrupted by the shade, but once the shade was dealt with it could continue to record everything. Since there isn't any 100% answer I like to think that the reconstructed Nier will have his adult memories. I was expecting to not have any canon answers to this from what I've seen online, and I'd say you've confirmed that to me. Hey, thanks for the thoughtful comment! NieR Replicant has become one of my favorite games, so I end up thinking about parts of it like this at times (even after a couple months have passed).
