Thus i think the best way to manage it would be to access the database as the ios does. does reading on Mac and iOS sync progress. And anyway I am a bit afraid to break what works already fine.
My guess is even if I manage to fix it, as soon as a new version is available on one end but not both i guess there will be compatibility issues.

And if i dont update it I just dont see anything. The osx app ask me to update it but it gives me an error. I guess it finds the info from the linux server and try to use it. And i have an error saying the database were created with a different version. But for my part i wanted to access it from my laptop. The following version: 0.3 is the most frequently downloaded one by the program users. The programs installation file is commonly found as YACReader-0.3.0 MacOSX-Int.zip. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available.
